1. General Information
TradeUp.fi is a marketplace owned and provided by Nordic Mobile Retail Oy (Company-id: 2895416-4). The following terms of services are applied only between Nordic Mobile Retail Oy (later referred to as TradeUp) and its customers. Products sold by TradeUp are second-hand, unless specified otherwise in the product description.
These terms of services have been updated 11.8.2018 and they are valid until further notice. TradeUp withholds the right to one-sidedly change the terms of service without an announcement. Purchase-orders use the terms of services valid at the time of purchase, which can be found from the purchase ordering page. Changes in the law are applied immediately as is, unless specified differently in the law.
TradeUp sells products to adults, and with the consent of their guardian, to underaged people (later referred to as private customers) and to companies and organisations (later referred to as corporate customers). In customer relationship these terms of services are primarily applied. In addition, in the case of private customers Finnish consumer protection legislation is applied, and in the case of corporate customers Finnish commercial law is applied.
Delivery time estimations are based on information given by the Posti’s postal services. TradeUp or the courier services it uses are not responsible for delays caused by unexpected changes that the couldn’t influence. A binding trade agreement is created the moment the purchase is registered into the systems of TradeUp.
Private and corporate customers are required to provide the information asked for when making a purchase. The said information include for a private customer at least their name, address, phone number and email. For corporate customers said information include contact person’s name, phone number and email, corporate id, post address, phone number, and if needed billing address.
3. Products and Prices
The product condition ratings are “Unopened” – “New” – “Excellent” – “Good” – “Satisfactory” – “Passable”. The condition ratings are described in more detail here. TradeUp withholds the rights to change the prices if there has been a clear mistake in the product pricings.
TradeUp can repair second-hand products with spare parts, including other than Apple-brand spare parts. TradeUp is not responsible for the correctness of the technical information and can change the technical descriptions without separate announcement. Products will be delivered to customers ready for use, with the factory default software already installed.
The normal value added tax procedure (24%), or in case of second-hand products marginal tax procedure, is applied, depending on whether the previous owner of the product was a corporation or a private person. The tax procedure applied is announced on each product separately.
5. Payment Options
Payment service provider
Paytrail Oyj (2122839-7) acts as an implementer of the payment handling service and as a Payment Service Provider. Paytrail Oyj will be shown as the recipient in the invoice and Paytrail Oyj will forward the payment to the merchant. Paytrail Oyj is an authorized Payment Institution. Paytrail Oyj (FI2122839) provides netbank related payment transfer services in co-operation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. For consumer the service works exactly the same way as traditional web payments.
6. Delivery Services
TradeUp uses Posti post services in its deliveries. The available delivery methods can be found from the webstore’s pages. Orders are processed on average within 1 workday, once the delivery is registered in TradeUp’s systems. The Posti postal delivery usually takes about 1-3 workdays.
TradeUp does not deliver products outside of Finland. TradeUp is not responsible for late delivery of orders for reasons out of our control. If a order being delivered via post is return, because it has not been picked up, TradeUp has the right to charge the original postage cost with the new delivery. If, the payment for the new delivery is not paid within 1 month of the placement of the order, the ownership of the product transfers to TradeUp. In the case of a private customer the payment for said product is returned.
Customers are required to check purchases delivered to them within 14 days of its arrival and to read its manual before using it. If the customer notices damage to the delivery or packaging, they should without delay do a written notice of it to firstname.lastname@example.org.
User manuals are usually not delivered for second-hand products, but in most cases, they are available on the manufacturers website.
7. Return Policy
Following the Customer Protection Law (Chapter 6 15 §) customers have a 14 day right to return products they have ordered from webstores. The 14 day return right begins from the moment the customer has physically received the product.
Within these 14 days a customer can return a purchase buy sending a cancellation of purchase message to email@example.com. The cancellation of purchase message should include the current date, name, address, date of placement of the order, and ordered product. The message needs to be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org for further instructions. The purchases should be returned by post to the return address below:

The purchase needs to be returned by post to the return address within 14 days after the cancellation of purchase message was sent. A copy of the cancellation of purchase message should be attached to the return package.
In the case that the returned purchase has been used, TradeUp withholds the right to charge a 24,00 euro (including 24% tax) checking and maintenance fee, and for the possible lowered value of the purchase.
All TradeUp products have a 12-month warranty and defect liability defined in the Consumer Protection Law. The warranty terms can be found here.
9. Defective Products
Once a defect or problem is encountered the customer should, without delay, contact email@example.com,for instructions on how to proceed. A defective product that fulfills the warranty policy needs to be delivered to the address below, after contacting the specified email address:

The customer is responsible for making a backups of the product memory before delivering them for maintenance.
